The Work:
Cyber Support Operations is seeking a skilled Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team as the local authority on implementing and maintaining security programs for sensitive data within our local range systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in preventing data breaches and unauthorized access, managing information security initiatives, and recommending improvements as new requirements arise. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Range Operations team to support testbed build-out and system sanitization, a strong Linux background is required. Responsibilities include:
• Support the ISSM by providing evidence of proper system configuration to meet RMS controls consistent with the NCR architecture and up-to-date system scans for the Charleston systems, upon request.
• Assists in the administration and monitoring of the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps and activities throughout system life cycle to ensure appropriate security posture is maintained.
• Implement cyber security program, policies, and procedures for the assigned information systems.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current and upcoming/scheduled events, assigned information system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.
• Possess knowledge of DoD, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and Risk Management Frameworks (RMF) core concepts and processes.
• Review/analyze Audit Logs (e.g., Splunk logs, Windows Event (EVTX) logs, Linux syslogs, and others as required) for assigned information systems.
• Perform validation checks to ensure the assigned information systems have the CM-approved software installed, to include Antivirus definitions.
• Perform cyber security compliance/vulnerability scans and manual checks.
• Execute the ISSO-specific duties identified programs Plans for the assigned information systems.
• Implement the account management process for the assigned information systems and issue the appropriate credentials to users.
• Implement the user-centric cyber security education, training, and awareness program, as required by the ISSM.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the NCRC mission.

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree in related field with 7+ years of related experience. Additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, information assurance, and risk management framework processes.
• Security+ or equivalent DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level I – III certification.
• Hands on experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Splunk or similar log aggregation and querying technology
• Basic scripting skills
Final Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
Desired Skills:
• VMWare – Virtualization and security ( vCenter, ESXi)
• Networking Experience; Cisco, Juniper
• NetApp Storage Technologies

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
