WHAT WE'RE DOING
This position is for an Associate Program Manager position for the FFG(X) Ship Integration & Test contract N00024-19-C-5602 as well as Small Surface Combatant Ship Integration & Test contract N00024-21-C-5105. The role reports into the senior Ship Integration & Test Programs Manager in the Platform Integration & Test sub market segment of SCSS.

FFG(X) Ship I&T (5602) is a recently awarded 10-year program to provide Combat System Integration for the new FFG(X) Ship Class. Responsible for managing the overall performance and execution of this contract for PEO IWS 1. The 5602 contract is a Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) Level of Effort (LOE) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) completion contract to provide Combat System (CS) Test Procedures, TSN, and MTP development. Modify and update CS Space Arrangements, I/F, and Installation Control Drawings. Provide CS Ship Integration Engineering Test Planning. Provide New Construction Waterfront Integration and Test and support Post Delivery Test and Trials.

THE WORK
The PM will work within the larger program team to effectively share personnel and resources across SI&T contracts and coordinate matrixed teams and resources to support larger organizational objectives. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring timely completion of planned CDRL and program deliveries, tracking program cost, schedule, and performance in addition to identifying risks, providing mitigation plans, and collecting and analyzing program metrics.
• Directing all phases of programs from inception through completion including coordinating the preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, specifications, and operating budgets.
• Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, and financial terms/conditions.
• Preparing for and presenting at Program Management Reviews and Program Status Reviews.
• Establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program issues and implement solutions.

This role requires significant organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, flexibility, and strong communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math or related discipline from an accredited college
• Experience in the collection and analysis of performance-based metrics
• Managing significant design, development, or production work
• Experience working with military personnel
• Ability to obtain security clearance
Desired Skills:
• IPT lead experience
• Technical background in ship systems engineering, testing and/or related skillsets
• Experience with management and risk/opportunity management
• Knowledge of Orders, Sales, EBIT and Cash and what influences each
• Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
• Knowledge of program and financial measurements.
• PEO IWS customer interface experience
• Experience with shipboard combat system elements and equipment
• Demonstrated strong customer relations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
