THE WORK
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer Sr to support multiple products at our Moorestown Facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing initiatives associated with the Quality organization and will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting Quality Program Managers as part of the Quality Program Team (QPT)
* Managing databases and key business metrics to measure and improve quality performance
* Developing and implementing effective process control methods to drive quality improvement
* Conducting process and product evaluations, assessments, and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
* Reviewing and approving First Article Inspection (FAI) Plans/Reports
* Supporting program process reviews, internal and external audits, and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
* Providing local customer interface and coaching/guiding peers
* Managing Control Accounts and Quality budgets
Scope of Responsibility
* Supporting several Quality Program Teams and Operations Cross-Functional Teams
* Evaluating and initiating actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets
* Driving Continuous Improvements and managing data analytics from the quality organization
* Assisting various stakeholders with initiatives to reengineer processes and methods to ensure compliance with customer contractual requirements and continuous improvement initiatives

* Ability to travel as required
* Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
* In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes, including documentation and interpretation of technical documents such as drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
* Proven experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ability to lead project activities to improve product and process performance
* Familiarity with Six Sigma industry standard practices, including:
+ Statistical Process Control (SPC)
+ Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action (RCCA)
+ Measurement System Analysis
* Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
* Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision, while coordinating initiatives across multiple functional organizations
* Results-driven with strong scheduling and organizational skills, and ability to adapt to changing environments while meeting customer requirements
* Highly developed problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
Desired Skills:
Must demonstrate an innate ability to adhere and communicate effectively to diverse groups, and multiple levels of leadership
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering).
- Experience with PR/MRB process
- Green Belt Trained and/or Certified
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations. Effectively communicate results to stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP/Solumina and data analytics to report trends and achieve results
- Previous Quality Engineering/Quality Control/ Aerospace experience
-Six Sigma Certification
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
- AS9100 Audit Experience
-ASQC Certified Quality Engineer
- Experience effectively engaging with government customer representatives
- A team player that can work with multiple disciplines in multi-functional organizations
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Internal and External Customers
- Detail oriented with demonstrated performance in generating high quality, error free deliverables
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
