Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING
The Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) is a Navy owned facility that provides a test environment for AEGIS Weapon System and Combat System development.
WHO WE ARE
This position, which is an entry level position, entails working as a Librarian for the (CSEDS) Data Libraries / Strong Room at the Moorestown New Jersey facility. It involves assisting with the technical and procedural responsibilities of the Data Control work center which operates in a 24/5 (modified) environment providing services to local and remote business areas.
THE WORK
Day-to-day tasking and responsibilities will include:
• Creating and tracking various forms of classified (and unclassified) media to include (but not limited to) Computer Hard Drives, CD’s, Optical Disks, 9 track magnetic tapes, 4mm cassettes and 8mm Advanced Intelligence Tape (AIT) magnetic cassettes.
• Marking classified hardware and printer output in accordance with established DoD requirements.
• Tracking accountable material utilizing the Security Information Management System (SIMS) and Media Tracker inventory control program.
• Maintaining close interaction with Quality Assurance and Configuration Management personnel, system users and members of various work-center operating staffs.
• Generating, updating and maintaining various reports and metric data using established inventory control procedures/programs
• Preparing various forms of media for shipment, transfer or destruction.
• Occasionally filling in as courier.
• Performing other related tasks as assigned by management.
Note: Selected individual may also be assigned to a similar work-center in the same MS2 business area at the CSEDS facility. Tasking and responsibilities in both locations are similar.

Basic Qualifications:
-1 - 2 years of Microsoft Office experience. Database operations a plus.
-1 - 2 years of data entry and basic computer skills.
-1 -2 years of Customer Service.
-Applicant selected will be subject of a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
-A self-started individual seeking an opportunity for technical advancement.
-Possess a basic familiarity with UNIX operating systems.
-Knowledge and documented experience with DoD security procedures, closed area requirements and proficiency in handling classified media
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
