The Air and Commercial Solutions (ACS) market segment within the Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) line of business in RMS delivers tailored solutions to meet or exceed customer mission needs in over 65 countries, with significant growth on the horizon.

THE WORK

The General Manager (GM) of Derco, a Lockheed Martin Company, will report to the Market Segment Vice President of ACS and serve as the President of Derco. In this dual-role capacity, you will oversee the Industrial Prime Vendor, 3rd Generation (IPV GEN III) contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) while leading a portfolio of programs that include:
• Industrial product support for USAF Air Logistics Command (ALC) depots.
• Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) programs for platforms such as the C-130, F-16, and other systems.
• Distribution for C-130, F-16, F100 engines, and additional military aircraft and engine spares.
• Component repairs, logistics, and technical solution activities.
As the GM Director, you will lead approximately 270 employees at Derco’s Milwaukee, WI location and 150 IPV program and functional employees across sites in Warner Robins, GA, Oklahoma City, OK, and Ogden, UT. You will oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed and virtual teams.
Leadership skills include: ability to shape the future, model personal excellence, demonstrate

• Proven program management experience with the ability to lead multiple programs
• Proven sales and business development experience with the ability to champion senior level strategic relationships, opportunities and campaigns
• Experienced strategic thought leader with proven experience developing and executing growth and cost reduction strategies
• Proven ability to identify and build strong relationships with and influence decision makers, and
maintain long-term customer intimacy
• Demonstrated business acumen to include experience in negotiations, performance metrics, and portfolio management
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willing and able to travel (both domestic and international) as required
• Ability to successfully partner with peers across Lockheed Martin Business Areas
Desired Skills:
• General management / company level leadership experience
• USG and commercial / international program and product support experience
• Relative experience in the OEM spares distribution, component repairs and USG / Commercial performance-based logistics programs
• Military MRO / Depot or aircraft maintenance / sustainment a plus
• US Defense Logistics Agency program experience
• May be required to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Previous LM experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
