Job Responsibilities
Description:Perform clerical functions such as posting and recording information, filing, preparing reports and schedules, and checking and comparing documents for accuracy, where reasoning, judgement and discretion must be exercised in selecting source data, utilizing associated intermediary paperwork, and in clearing discrepancies and recommending or making clerical changes.
Performs clerical functions related to transportation of government and commercial shipments in an SAP environment.
Operate a typewriter, personal computer, and computer terminal and as necessary develop form and layout of information to be produced.
Compile, post and enter diversified information into manual or computer based systems where conversion and/or selection of data from several sources is required.
Set up and maintain all types of manual and computer files. Sort documents, determine proper filing designation and cross-reference files as required. Search files as necessary and compile and furnish information where a thorough knowledge of associated files, documents and software is required.
Examine, check and compare documents for correctness and completeness of coding, figures, nomenclature, calculations, postings, authorizing signatures and other information. Investigate and clear clerical discrepancies by reviewing the accuracy of associated paperwork and, as necessary, contact interested personnel to secure proper information, make proper clerical changes, and take required action to effect correction to related documents.
Gather from various sources and arrange diversified data and compile reports, schedules, and similar items. Summarize information or data by preparing charts or graphs for visual presentation of information.
Operate a typewriter, personal computer/ computer terminal and as necessary develop form or layout of information to be produced. Order and maintain stock of departmental clerical supplies.
May use adding machines, calculators, and personal computers/computer terminals in performance of duties and to perform arithmetic computations including fractions, decimals, reciprocals, and algebraic signs. May operate a typewriter, personal computer/ computer terminal and similar equipment to produce a wide variety of documents.
Facilitates the movement of urgent shipments as requested.
Provides consolidation information to packaging personnel when required to secure specialized services or rates.
Verifies the accuracy of completed shipping documents.
Processes outbound shipments to coordinate pick-up.
Assures all shipping documentation is in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Processes Bills of Lading and carrier correction notices for U.S. Government routed commercial Bills of Lading (CBL).Â
Validates accuracy of completed shipping documents and Bills of Lading.
Work schedule is 4x10 with hours: 7:30am to 6pm.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to access LM Aero SAP system and the U.S. Governments Freight Management automated system (GFM).
• Ability to calculate equations using calculators or computer
• Knowledge of applicable guidelines and procedures for accomplishing tasks

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
