As a Production Specialist (Level 3) in Marietta, GA, you will play a key role in supporting aircraft production and maintenance operations, ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Production Specialist, you will:
• Train and mentor team members to ensure proficiency in following instructions and resolving structural or mechanical issues.
• Work closely with management to coordinate job requirements and work assignments.
• Step into a leadership role during management absences to ensure workflow continuity.
• Support production operations by troubleshooting and resolving structural and mechanical concerns.
• Perform and oversee sheet metal work on aircraft structures.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet schedule requirements and production goals.

Who You Are
• You are a highly skilled aviation professional with a strong background in aircraft structures, maintenance, and sheet metal work.
• You have a passion for mentoring and training others, excel in problem-solving, and are comfortable stepping into a leadership role when needed.
This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.
Basic Qualifications:
• Aviation structure maintenance experience with C-130 or smaller similar cargo aircraft.
• sheet metal experience
Desired Skills:
• 5 yrs sheet metal experience
• Proficient interpreting structure Blue Prints
• Proficient working with windows based computer programs and associated programs.
• Communication skills experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Shop floor Manager (SFM) experience
• QADS, DIMS, EDW
• 10 yrs structure sheet metal experience
• Cargo aircraft systems knowledge with interpreting prints
• AUTO Time for time keeping
• Work experience in a union based environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
