The RMS Global Sustainment organization is dedicated to partnering with the RMS Lines Of Business (LOBs) to satisfy our customers’ needs by delivering optimized and affordable sustainment solutions. This partnership starts during the capture phase and extends through development, production, integration and test, deployment, and sustainment phases of a products lifecycle. To this end, Global Sustainment has implemented a matrix organization designed to provide programs with sustainment product and services with the agility to efficiently meet quality, cost and schedule objectives. Global Sustainment’s four Program Integration teams are aligned with each LOB and provides programs with a Logistics Project Manager who provide single point of contact project management between the program office and the Global Sustainment Centers of Excellence (CoEs) who are providing program sustainment work products and services.

WHO YOU ARE
This position is the Senior Manager Sustainment lead for the Small Combatant & Ship Systems (SCSS) market segment. This is a functional position in the RMS Global Sustainment organization, reporting to the Global Sustainment (GS) Director for Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS). The successful candidate will sit on the functional leadership team of the SCSS market segment Vice President and be responsible for all aspects of sustainment products and services in support of program capture, design, production, delivery and post-delivery. The successful candidate will directly manage a team of Logistics Project Managers, coordinating with Sustainment Centers of Excellence, and adjacent “dotted line” personnel within the IWSS Field Service organizations providing production, integration, and sustainment support to our partners and customers. This position primarily has direct span of control over personnel in Moorestown NJ, Virginia Beach, VA, but can also include staff at other LM locations.
Responsibilities include:
• Responsibility for all Global Sustainment scope across the market segment, including ship production programs (US Navy Littoral Combat Ship, Saudi Navy Multi-Mission Surface Combatant), and Ship Engine and Machinery Control programs (Landing Helicopter Assault, DDG).
• Provide senior functional management for GS personnel (40+ person span of control)
• Management of GS staffing demands
• Act as technical director for Saudi localization efforts associated with MMSC sustainment/ Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul
• Work closely with the GS Center of Excellence managers to ensure priorities are met and product deliveries meet program requirements
• Support growth strategy and business development efforts for the market segment; drive Sustainment as a means for portfolio growth and support all proposal efforts
• Lead Sustainment IRAD and Digital Transformation efforts
• Provide regular briefings to GS IWSS Director and executive leadership
• Regular interface with US Navy and Royal Saudi Navy, as well as international customers and partners

Basic Qualifications:
-Full-Spectrum Leader with personnel management experience

-Demonstrated ability to successfully build partnerships with peers, customers, and stakeholders

-Strategy development, capture support and proposal development experience

-Project management and Earned Value Management/Cost Account Management experience

-Logistics and sustainment/ Product Support Integration experience

-Demonstrated customer relationship building

-Demonstrated leadership in LM innovation and transformation initiatives, 1LMX and Digital Transformation

-Final Secret clearance to start, and ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
-Exceptional communication and presentation skills

-SCSS market segment experience

-Global Sustainment organizational experience including

-GS product and sustainment scope execution

-Multi-site personnel management

-Experience mentoring early career professionals

-Capture lead experience/ volume authorship

-Experience capturing new sustainment work

-Demonstrated experience successfully executing sustainment programs, with an emphasis on US Navy post-delivery and Planning Yard

-International business experience, preferably Middle East region/Saudi Arabia

-Demonstrated process and operations improvement initiatives

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $127,700 - $244,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
