WHO WE ARE
Our most advanced radar systems are designed by our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team, and we are looking for highly talent individuals, like yourself, with a passion for ground based, ship based, and airborne platform RADAR Technology. We provide rf designs from circuit board components, modules, radars, and radar systems working in a totally integrated environment.

THE WORK
In this role you will:
-Be responsible for research, design and development of RF circuits, including Antennas/Radiating Elements used in Radar Applications operating at UHF, L, S, C and X-Band.
- Work alongside other Senior Engineers and Subject Matter Experts and across various programs to design Receiver/Exciter circuits and subsystems.
- Lead junior RF engineers through mentoring and technical guidance.
- Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test transmitter, power, and analog circuitry.
- Provide leadership experience with RF engineers and engineers of other disciplines including mechanical, systems, and software.
-Develop technical solutions to complex problems, support failure analysis, Material Review Board processing, discrepancy documentation, resolution, and troubleshooting.

WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking individuals who possess expertise in:
-Architecting and designing Radio Frequency systems and circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.

-Hardware layouts, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.

-Preparing test methods and specifications.

-Providing inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supporting manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.

-Identifying and tracking RF technical performance measurements (TPMs).

Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of different types of antennas/radiating elements
- Experienced with RF analysis tools
- Knowledge of RF Circuit design and analysis.
- Experience with Lab Equipment including oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Volt Meters, Vector Network Analyzers, etc.
- Ability to obtain and hold a DOD Security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Individual is considered an emerging subject matter expert in RF design.
Experience with 3D full wave simulation tools such as HFSS and/or CST Microwave Studio.
Thorough understanding of electromagnetics, wave propagation and RF system design.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written/verbal skills.
Experience in creating proposals, cost estimates. and schedules.

Able to work effectively as a leader in a diverse team environment.
Demonstrated ability to act independently and as an emerging subject matter expert.
Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated team leadership skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $114,100 - $218,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $131,200 - $247,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
