The Work:

The selected candidate will support the classified cybersecurity group within Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) in Liverpool, NY. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our information systems across multiple programs. Your expertise will be applied to implement and enforce cybersecurity requirements, utilizing a range of regulatory frameworks, including NISPOM, JSIG, DoD 8500, NIST, ICD, CNSSI, DAAPM, and other relevant DoD documents.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing the Authorization to Operate (ATO) lifecycle, enforcing cybersecurity compliance, and participating in a variety of tasks, such as: information system management, System Security Plan development, hardware and software configuration management, preparing documentation for government approvals, conducting weekly system audits, managing anti-virus software, creating hardware sanitization procedures, maintaining user accounts, and preparing for inspections. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to enterprise initiatives, continuous monitoring, self-inspection reviews, and other duties as assigned. To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong foundation in information technology security principles, familiarity with various computer and network operating systems, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. Excellent customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills are also essential in this fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting and a Secret Clearance
- 1+ year of experience in Information Security or Information Technology, with a strong foundation in security principles and practices
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification, such as (within 6 months of hire date):
• Security+ CE
• CySA+
• CND
• CCNA-Security
• GICSP
• GSEC
• SSCP
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in utilizing enterprise security tools, including:
• Splunk for log analysis and security monitoring
• ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) for vulnerability scanning
• HBSS (Host-Based Security System) for endpoint security
- Experience with operating system hardening, specifically:
• Linux and Windows operating systems to DISA STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide) baseline
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to established security policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, including:
• Verbal communication for effective collaboration and presentation
• Writing skills for clear and concise documentation and reporting
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards, including:
• NISPOM (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual)
• DAAPM (Defense Acquisition Regulations System)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $84,300 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
