The Hypersonic Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) team is looking for new members of their Integration and Test team. CPS is a multi-platform launched weapon system that will include phases progressing through design, flight test, initial production, and deployment of the weapon system. This position will lead the Hypersonic Weapon System Integration team in planning as it pertains to incremental builds and customer platform integration. This requires the ability to develop and manage master test plans and detailed test plans as they apply to various system configurations.




The responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading a team in the definition and management of lab configurations as derived from test requirements driven by design,
eveloping test cases/test requirements that enable detailed test campaign planning and execution
• Coordinating efforts for system level development, qualification, and acceptance test campaigns.
• Support management of platform-related development testing
• Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with distributed lab and production teams during test planning and execution.
• Provide technical expertise/oversight through test development and execution
• Applying the fundamental principles of the Systems Engineering V
• Developing good working relationships CPS and sister program Element organizations
• Desire to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment
• Demonstration of excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with customers, management, and peers.
• Experience in system test planning and execution with an understanding of interdependencies
• Experience in system design and test with one or more subsystems/disciplines
• Experience working in assembly, integration, and test environment
• Experience defining system needs based on requirements
• Familiarity with application of test requirements to meet verification and validation needs
• Familiarity with the System Engineering lifecycle
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in system design and test with one or more subsystems/disciplines

• Experience working in assembly, integration, and test environment

• Experience defining system needs based on requirements

• Familiarity with application of test requirements to meet verification and validation needs

• Experience leading a team using AGILE development techniques and practices

• Experience with the System Engineering lifecycle

• Active or Current DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• L-code experience in a development based integration and test environment
Experience in system test case/requirement derivation with an understanding of interdependencies

• Experience in distributed functional capability verification

• Hardware/Software integration and test experience

• Experience managing system test campaigns

• Comfort developing project schedules and utilizing earned value

• Experience with SMD products, missions and customers

• Currently possess or eligibility to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

• Experience leading technical teams

• Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment

• Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working environment across disparate organizations

• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
