Come join Lockheed's Strategic Reentry Programs. This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in SRP.

As a Systems Engineer for the Sentinel program you will directly help establish the technical solution and overall system design for one of our country's most vital and sophisticated strategic systems!

In this role you typically will:
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems definitions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system trades and analysis, flow down the architecture and CONOPS into requirements and interfaces, and support verification planning
• Define Key performance parameters, technical performance measures and the associated derived requirements
• Support requirements and verification team projects and coordinate regularly with key partners to maintain program objectives
• Be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and releasing requirements specification documents, including defining the requirements and verification baseline
• Develop Specification and Interface Control Documents
• Use the latest in MBSE tools and processes to generate synergistic models to establish linkages across verification artifacts and requirements
• Quickly become a proficient independent contributor with Cameo or DOORS database and apply systems engineering change control process to retain control of the requirements
• Use your excellent communication skills to work across the Lockheed Martin organization and customer/user community to ensure consensus and understanding of solutions

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Systems Engineering concepts and processes
• Experience in one or more Systems Engineering functions in a program setting, such as:
a.) Subsystem design or analysis
b.) CONOPS development
c.) System modeling or analysis
d.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
e.) System trade studies
f.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
g.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
h.) Design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering field to identify technical product characteristics to develop requirements specifications
• Writing requirements documentation and coordinating release through approval process
• DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
• Active DoD Secret clearance or above
Desired Skills:
• Experience working in the development phase of a Space or Missile development program preferably for the US Government
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
• Systems engineering experience or relevant systems engineering training through a university or certificate program
• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with the following engineering tools: DOORS, Model Center, Cameo (NoMagic) aligned with UAF® using Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM™) 3.0 modeling standard and UML/SysML
• Applying SysML to Systems Engineering efforts and working with modern SysML tools
• Participating on teams implementing MBSE on programs
• Using MBSE execution and analysis tools and managing model content
• OCSMP System Modeling Certification
• Experience with OOSEM
• Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to teams and stakeholders
• Design and test experience in a subsystem or field outside of Systems Engineering
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with ePDM and change processes
• Able to support multiple programs concurrently
• Experience coordinating with multiple key partners
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, synergetic team environment
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Technical writing skills and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
