The Work

In this role, you will serve as the Cyber Security Lead for an Agile development team focused on mission-critical projects. Your primary responsibilities will involve performing Cyber Security Scanning, implementing DevSecOps practices, and automating Cyber tools to ensure that software products are secure, resilient, and high-performing. As the Cyber Security Lead, you'll be a key player in securing our systems and working closely with cross-functional teams to mitigate vulnerabilities. Your work will directly contribute to protecting critical defense systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Cyber Scans on the Valley Forge System to identify vulnerabilities.

Automate scanning tools for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Mitigate findings and implement solutions to enhance system security.

Support the development team with virtualization and scripting needs.

Serve as the primary contact for Cyber Resiliency within the team and across the organization.

This position is located in King of Prussia, PA.

This Position requires the ability to acquire and maintain a DoD Clearance at the Secret level.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of related professional experience
- Experience with Linux environments and Cyber Security applications such as STIGs, ACAS, and Auditing.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including participation in sprints and collaboration with product teams
- This Position requires the ability to acquire and maintain a DoD Clearance at the Secret level.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field plus 5 years professional experience or 3 years professional experience with a related Masters Degree
- Security+ or CISSP Certification
- Proficiency with STIGs an ACAS Scanning
- Python and Bash Scripting
- Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Networking knowledge of LAN and WAN networking topographies, working knowledge of networking planning, subnetting and virtualization
- DevSecOps Experience
- Containerization technology – Docker and Podman
- Experience with Virtual Machines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
