Description:The Work
This manager
position is responsible for all aspects of quality and
mission success as the leader of the West Palm Beach production quality organization. The position will
report to the SR Quality Manager in the AAFS Sikorsky line of business.
Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the
programs life-cycle including proposals, contract
review, start-up, development, transition to
production, production and support.
Requires an understanding of Quality tasks across
Quality functions including hardware, software,
systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and
customers. Proficient in company policies.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee
recruitment, selection and training, performance
assessment, work assignments, salary, and
recognition/disciplinary actions.
Provides guidance to subordinates based on
organizational goals and company policy. Work is
reviewed in terms of meeting the organization's
objectives, schedules, and financial goals. Establishes
operating policies and procedures that affect
subordinate organizational units. Interprets, executes
and recommends modifications to organizational
policies.
Exerts influence in the development of overall
objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
Frequent contacts with equivalent level managers,
industry peers, and customer representatives
concerning projects, operational decisions, technical
activities, schedules, contractual issues, and general
overall performance of organizational unit(s).
Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal
and external representatives.
Responsible for all assigned projects to organizational
unit. Acts as advisor to subordinate managers or staff
members. Focuses on directing organization to meet
critical schedules, resolve critical/complex technical or
operational problems. Directly participates in
establishing and administering many projects and
assignments. Develops and administers budgets,
schedules and performance standards. Accomplishes
results through subordinate managers and/or
associate managers, or senior level exempt
professionals. Subject to approval, modifies the
organizational structure of assigned central or
program units.

The candidate will provide leadership to both salary
and hourly personnel, including Quality Engineers,
Supervisors, and Inspectors supporting these
programs. The candidate will be responsible for
support throughout the program life cycle from
proposals through production and Flight Test.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering related
discipline. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain
Secret Clearance. Experienced leader with a minimum of 15 years in various Engineering, Operations, Programs, Supply Chain, or Quality positions of increasing
responsibility.
Desired Skills:
Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering related
discipline.

Experienced in implementing and maintaining
AS9100-certified Quality Management Systems.
Extensive knowledge of FAA Regulations, DOD
contract requirements and Program Quality
Management. Strong communication skills including the ability to interface effectively with executive leadership on
strategic and tactical issues affecting the quality of
products delivered. Ability to give, receive, and act on critical feedback. Ability to form creative partnerships to improve execution and competitive performance.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
