Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and lead the charge in aerospace manufacturing excellence. As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Associate Manager supporting the C-130 assembly program in Johnstown, PA, you will oversee operations and drive performance across multiple functions, managing a team of assembly supervisors and industrial engineers. What You Will Be Doing



  • Lead all aspects of the C-130 assembly program, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management.

  • Direct daily activities of assembly supervisors and industrial engineers to ensure effective execution of production goals.

  • Set program direction and define measurable goals aligned with senior leadership objectives.

  • Provide clear reporting to senior leaders and develop/implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Coordinate all in-plant efforts and resources in support of the C-130 program.

  • Promote collaboration and teamwork to maximize efficiency and achieve program milestones.

  • Utilize internal and external resources to proactively resolve production challenges and integrate solutions.

  • Ensure cost, schedule, and quality goals are met across all areas of responsibility.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with manufacturing & Machining processes.
• Experience with general Aerospace requirements.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to analyze and interpret data such as schedules, cost data, and purchase order requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Exceptional people skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Previous Lockheed Martin leadership experience
• Experience directing manufacturing of varied product types
• Coordination of multi-function responsibilities in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of legacy LM Aeronautics’ support systems
• Understanding of working with represented employees
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
