In acknowledgement of this opportunity, the Classified Transformation organization and leadership structure have been put in place, along with significant investment to drive positive changes to both transform and standardize Classified IT delivery.
The selected individual will be a System Engineer for an enterprise WAN solution: DarkStar! They will be responsible for supporting the Windows environments within DarkStar at one of our node locations and will be the primary interface for DarkStar. The selected candidate will closely work with the larger DarkStar system engineering and network teams to maintain, sustain and keep secure all Windows environments throughout the system. They must be comfortable working in an environment supporting a large number of different platforms which range from enterprise servers to small and midsize servers. They will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, software installation, patching and maintenance. Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, ssh, and etc protocols and system network tuning and configuration.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience with configuring and maintaining Windows OS environments (Physical and virtual)
• Experience with Active Directory administration, including health checks and troubleshooting
• Experience with Group Policy Object configuration and administration
• Experience with Windows Updates and patching (WSUS). Offline WSUS experience a plus.
• Basic network configuration and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated collaboration skills building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
• Security+
• DoD SECRET clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with McAfee and EPO/ENS, Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019, Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or Windows OS image building processes
• Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation/scripting too
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9
• Experience using Certificate Authorities (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure
• Experience with SPLUNK
• Experience with Domain Capable Windows/Linux/Virtualization

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
