THE WORK
As a Senior Program Manager – Black Hawk Multi-Year XI, you will lead key initiatives to optimize affordability and contract negotiations with our supplier base. This role is instrumental in preparing for the 2026 prime negotiations in Huntsville, AL, working directly with the U.S. Army and DCMA to reach an agreement that enables the next Black Hawk contract award.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading supplier negotiation activities, including cost and price analysis, and developing win-win solutions with suppliers.
• Driving risk and opportunity management strategies to identify and mitigate potential challenges.
• Managing pre-contract efforts related to Sikorsky’s Black Hawk supply base, ensuring firm fixed-price agreements align with the Multi-Year XI period of performance.
• Developing and maintaining a negotiation schedule to meet program milestones, addressing resource allocation and contractual approaches as needed.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Engineering & Technology to align strategies and execution plans.
• Acting as a primary customer liaison for supplier-related activities, leading program reviews and presenting status updates.
• Engaging with the customer to resolve high-level technical, programmatic, and business issues impacting contract negotiations.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience
• 10+ years Program / Project Management Experience
• Experience in DoD Contracting and Negotiating
• Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to clearly articulate complex plans and strategies to both internal and external organizational audiences.
• Ability to independently formulate a package and communicate concisely to senior level executives
• Team player – Builds effective customer, team, and partner relationships. Effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of managers and engineers to act as “one” in the pursuit of common objectives. Demonstrated ability to negotiate to a positive outcome with multiple stakeholders.
• An independent worker with a successful track record of managing complex programs contracts on-cost, on-schedule, and providing high-quality deliverables
• Strong Earned Value skills
• Experience managing and leading ACAT1 programs in support of the US Army
• Experience with the development of acquisition strategies, contract requirement packages, requests for proposals (RFPs), technical evaluations, and negotiations
Desired Skills:
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Master’s degree
• Defense Acquisition University Certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
