Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The Electrical Engineer will perform as an integral member of the on-site Engineering Support Group (ESG) team with responsibility to support the development of F-16 Organic Modification programs for the United States Air Force and to update the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Engineering databases and drawings.
The selected candidate will be required to be in the office (on-site) in accordance with a set team schedule to coordinate with the rest of the team. Teleworking is acceptable when not in the office.
Responsibilities include:
• Researching the electrical configuration impact(s) to F-16 aircraft using Lockheed Martin’s engineering databases (Multi-Program Release System MPRS, MPRSII, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), etc.) to determine current configuration, effectivity, and next higher assembly for applicable drawings.
• Responsible for researching, using and modifying harness wire lists, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Create engineering application lists (Als), parts lists (PLs), reference designator lists, drawing notes, service data notes and temporary usage flags.
• Determine effectivities for MIDAS drawings (Wiring Diagrams, Schematics) using MPRS.
• Create Design Information (DI) and Source Data (SD) and redlined drawing graphic packages using CATIA V5 and CADAM Computer Drafting (CCD). The DI and SD will be based upon Government aircraft modifications and drive LM Aero engineering database changes.
• Limited domestic travel in support of F-16 aircraft Operational Use Evaluation (OUE), Trial Verification Installation (TVI) and Kit Proof (KP) events which typically last for up to 2 weeks at a time.
• Create Organic Change Notices (OCNs) using Electronic Document and Forms System (EDFS), CATIA V5 and CCD Graphics.
• Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• Bachelor's Degree in with 1 year Electrical Engineering-related experience or a minimum of 3 years of Electrical Engineering-related experience without a Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience working with technical drawings, diagrams and schematics.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
• Experience with aeronautics specifications and engineering drawings
• Aircraft maintenance or aircraft electrical design experience
• Interpret engineering drawings and understand AL/PLs, drawing notes and usage flags.
• Read and interpret engineering and customer provided documentation.
• CATIA CAD experience or equivalent design software
• Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team, be a self-starter and have initiative
• Experience working on several Projects simultaneously, within budget and schedule.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
