What You Will Be Doing
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is searching for a driven and innovative Liaison Engineering Project Engineer to join the esteemed F-16 Block 70/72 Program team. In this full-time role based in Greenville, SC, you’ll lead a talented group of Liaison Engineers, utilizing your technical expertise and leadership acumen to drive excellence in aircraft structure and design. This role provides a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of production build activities, ensuring every F-16 Viper meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal technical contact for Liaison Engineering on the F-16 Program, acting as a spokesperson and advisor for technical initiatives and engineering research.

- Collaborate closely with Production Operations, contributing to process improvements and embedding best practices into daily workflows on the production floor.

- Engage and coordinate with Design, Stress, Structures, Quality, Planning, and other teams at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics sites to drive cohesive project execution.

- Guide technical assessments and provide mentorship for resolving production build discrepancies, helping streamline workflow and ensuring quality standards.

- Support the Material Review Board (MRB) engineering team in addressing and resolving non-conformances, enhancing operational efficiency.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with a 14 years of professional experience or 12 years of professional experience with a Masters degree

• Technical engineering team leadership experience

• Production Engineering experience

• Experience with analyzing, interpreting and providing input for revision of released engineering

• Experience with or related to aircraft structural design

• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple simultaneous tasks

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
• Discrepancy assessment and research of F-16 Block 70/72 aircraft structural configuration using Lockheed Martin’s engineering databases (Multi-Program Release System MPRS, MPRSII, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Parts Warehouse etc) to determine aircraft build state , effectivity and impact.

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Project engineering experience

• Self-starter

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Fighter Jet Production Engineering experience

• CATIA V5 or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design(CAD) experience

• Airframe Layout Design / Structural Design

• Stress Analysis experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
