Description:
You will be a Lead Test Systems Development Engineer for Lockheed Martin's MFC team, responsible for developing and verifying test programs for new test sets. Our team is responsible for supporting the testing of the PAC-3/MSE Missile and subsystems, and you'll play a key role in ensuring their success.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Lead Test Systems Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, debugging, integrating, and verifying test programs, as well as writing test description documents and operating instructions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure test system design meets requirements and is in-line with Enterprise standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop, debug, integrate, and verify test programs for new test sets
• Write test description documents, operating instructions, and installation procedures
• Support Peer Reviews, Code Reviews, Design Assurance Reviews, and other program milestones
• Troubleshoot HW issues and provide timely communication on progress and significant issues
• Collaborate with Test System Technical Lead, HW SME, SE SME, and other stakeholders to ensure test system design meets requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. An interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related degree, or equivalent professional experience
• 9 Years (with a Bachelors), or 7 years (with a Masters) Test Engineering Experience.
• Proficient in LabVIEW and TestStand.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of test equipment architecture.
• Proficient in Object Orientated Software Design.
• Have experience with MIL-STD-1553, and serial interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting experience to include analog and digital circuits.
• Test set Software design supporting RF testing.
• Knowledge of requirements management lifecycle including derivation, trace, compliance, and verification.
• Test Equipment Interface Test Adapter (ITA) and cable design experience.
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) common toolsets, ideologies, and best Practices: DOORS classic, DOORS Next Generation (DNG), Rational Rhapsody, No Magic MagicDraw, cross application linking, SysML, etc.
• Experience with defense system development and design, preferably missiles and ground systems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
