You will be the Social Media Strategist for our Communications team. Our team is responsible for developing and executing digital and social media strategies that support business objectives, talent acquisition, and strategic pursuits across various product lines.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for leading the development, execution, and measurement of our digital and social media strategy, creating engaging content, and analyzing metrics to inform strategic decision-making. You will partner with cross-functional teams to support integrated marketing campaigns and corporate initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and executing digital and social media strategies
• Creating social and digital content to support business objectives
• Monitoring social media channels for engagement opportunities
• Analyzing metrics to shape strategies and tactics
• Producing engaging visual and digital videos and stories
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on integrated marketing campaigns

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 2 years of professional experience; or a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills with the ability to convey highly complex information in clear, compelling ways

Experience working with cross-functional teams to pull together large, integrated communications campaigns.

Fundamental understanding of social media for business with the ability to rapidly become proficient using new software and online tools.

Strong knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

Motivated self-starter who performs without appreciable direction and works effectively under competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Collaborative, congenial and team-oriented personality.

Quick study with an attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

The ability to travel on an occasional basis

Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be a U.S citizen
Desired Skills:
Experience using social media management tools for content calendaring, metrics reporting, budgeting, news monitoring and/or paid promotional amplification with a strong preference for HootSuite.

Prefer a candidate to be near the Orlando, FL or Grand Prairie, TX facility to be able to go onsite.

Be a strong visual eye and storytelling instincts.

Experience working in HootSuite, AirTable, Cision, and Photoshop.

Ability to analyze social media metrics for insights, trends and strategy development.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
