Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planning Supervisor for the Production, Planning and Controlling organization. Our team is responsible for managing Production Control Units, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments to drive production efficiency and excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of production control professionals, overseeing the planning and execution of production activities, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. You will manage multiple functional areas, including material planning and control, material handling, and production control, to ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and other teams
• Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts, including managing move orders, stock transfers, and shipping orders
• Managing and developing a team of 5+ direct reports, including staffing, training, performance assessment, and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Working outside of normal operating hours as required to meet business needs
• Managing multiple functional areas, including material planning and control, material handling, and production control

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Must have or be able to obtain a security
clearance
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels
of management, industry peers, a represented
workforce and internal and external customers
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer
systems, databases, and programs
• Previous leadership experience
• Understand the management of budgets
• Related experience in material handling, control
systems and Enterprise Resource (ERP) systems
Desired Skills:
• Experience supporting Material Management and
Accounting System (MMAS)
• Black Belt trained / certified
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory
• Management (CPIM) certification
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and
parts lists
• Knowledge of industry wide best practices and
processes for managing material flow
throughout the entire production supply chain
• Inventory control and material handling
knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with SAP
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
