Responsibilities
Description:The ARISE Analytics team is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Cyber Software Engineer to join our team. As a Cyber Software Engineer, you will work closely with developers to secure the ARISE Analytics software stack. Candidates applying to this position should have a Bachelor’s degree, or greater, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or an equivalent field with significant software development experience.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and document full-stack cyber solutions
• Automate cyber compliance and testing
• Evaluate system architecture for vulnerabilities and implement remediation controls
• Work with cross-functional cybersecurity and IT teams to deploy our products in new environments

Basic Qualifications:
*Must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to beginning employment, and then obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance while employed to be considered for this position*
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
• Experience implementing systems that comply with security standards like NIST 800-53 or FedRAMP
• Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Comfortable with web authentication and authorization standards like OAuth2 and Open Policy Agent
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date in order to meet program requirements
Desired Skills:
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks, such as NIST or OWASP
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools, such as AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Certification in cloud computing, DevOps, or a related field (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
