Who You Are

As a member of the Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain organization, and as an individual contributor for the International/Coproduction Subcontract Management Team, you will impact major complex procurements of different contract types and will have continued interaction with Lockheed Martin Program Management and Global Supply Chain leadership. You’ll need to operate autonomously and have the business acumen for interaction with the International/Coproduction leadership team. In addition, you’ll be looked upon to help guide and mentor other members of the team with their continued learning and training.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Subcontract Management Staff you will be responsible for contract execution on the Coproduction/International Team supporting the F-16, C-130 & F-35 Programs. Job duties include cost/price analysis, negotiations, contract documentation, purchase order maintenance, supplier performance management, and special assignments as required. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of major aircraft assemblies and components. Prepares bid packages, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

AeroSCM
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college

Experience in subcontract management, supply chain, or Defense Contracting

Experienced as a coach, mentor, leader or manager

Understanding or familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)

Advanced communications experience (verbal, written, and presentation)

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, or Outlook)
Desired Skills:
Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions

Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)

Experience in negotiating proposals that met the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold

Ability to engage supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues

Strong Problem solving skills

Self motivated and demonstrated sense of urgency

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to work with all levels of management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
