Job Responsibilities
Description:The primary mission of the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization is to mitigate risk and promote the safety and security of company personnel and assets, and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests.
The Government Security Operations Representative will be part of an exciting team that develops, evaluates, refines, and implements cost effective and value-added security solutions across the Aeronautics enterprise.
Contribute to many of the company’s security initiatives, identifying best practices, and driving continuous improvement opportunities.
• Administer Self-Inspection Program efforts for LM Aero - Fort Worth to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing classified material and export-controlled data.
• Study and implement DoD security rules (NISPOM) to ensure adherence to corporate and customer policies.
• Investigate security violations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions.
• Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues, communicating observations and recommendations to leadership.
• VisitLM/BadgeLM support as required
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment; yet work independently to ensure compliance with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics requirements
Selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in project management
• Experience in supporting self-inspection (or similar) efforts
• Have experience in either DoD Collateral Program, Special Access Program, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and/or Security Education & Training
Desired Skills:
• Experience with the 32 CFR 117 NISPOM Rule
• Working knowledge of DISS, NISS, VisitLM and/or COMET
• Be self-driven & results-oriented
• Be highly organized & have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
