You will be a Project Engineer - Level 4.

What You Will Be Doing

This metric and data analyst position will work as a member of the Sustainment Supply Performance Improvement Team. You will be responsible for scoping, standing up, and maintaining data visualization environments to assist the Supply team with better insight into performance and areas of opportunity. The position also requires Root Cause Corrective Action investigation, the development of best-case courses of action, and the ability to manage projects based on the initial performance improvement effort.

You will be responsible for collaborating across multiple teams and interfacing with the customer to ensure metric/data analysis and resulting corrective actions drive desired performance outcomes. This will require a highly motivated individual who is able to apply analytics to understand key process drivers and integrate across the Program to drive the implementation of solutions, including providing information that enables quick and accurate decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include significant data analysis, rapid identification of emerging issues that require intervention to avoid degradation to contracted metrics, and analyzing trends to identify unique operational issues that require technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions to improve performance.

The role will design and develop methods, processes, and systems to analyze diverse data sources. Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate datasets and model complex business problems. The role will require cross-functional integration to provide feedback, correct data sources or logic, understand process execution, develop innovative solutions, track corrective actions, and manage improvement projects. The ideal candidate is someone who can:

- Create interactive data analytics dashboards to measure and improve operational performance

- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to communicate insightful information to key stakeholders

- Work closely with the leadership team, IT, and other key stakeholders

- Present thorough and detailed reports to identify areas of opportunity to drive future decision-making

- Perform data validation and maintain the integrity of dashboards and databases

- Maintain and optimize current data sources and dashboards

- Develop and automate data pipelines

- Complete ad-hoc research requests from senior leadership and brief investigatory findings

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX  Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, or another related discipline from an accredited university; or equivalent experience/combined education

• Must have demonstrated Data Analytics experience

• Must have Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Inventory Management experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Self-Service, QlikView, PowerBI, or other similar tools

- Programming experience and demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern software language such as C++, C, C#, Java, Python, etc.

- Ability to adapt business processes into automated tools and perform specialized data investigations to support Root-Cause Corrective-Action (RCCA) efforts

- Project Management experience

- Understanding of performance metric measures or KPI reporting techniques a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
