As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Manager (Level 5) supporting F-35 Manufacturing in Fort Worth, TX, you will lead a team responsible for producing the world’s most advanced fighter jet, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every step of the Final Assembly process.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Final Assembly operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving team success, fostering workplace culture, and achieving program objectives.
Operations Management: Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements across Final Assembly operations.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team; manage performance assessments, work assignments, and recognition or disciplinary actions as needed.
Strategic Scheduling: Adapt to and execute dynamic manufacturing schedules to meet operational demands.
Talent Development: Strengthen the organization by mentoring and developing team members, leveraging Career Opportunity Assessment (COA) techniques.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability to enhance workplace culture and program success.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience Leading in an aircraft manufacturing operations environment.
• Experience with mentoring &/or developing teams using COA techniques.
• Experience working with &/or adapting to dynamic manufacturing schedules.
• Experience in the recruitment &/or development of talent to strengthen the organization.
Desired Skills:
• 5 + years of leadership experience in an aircraft manufacturing operations environment.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work across Functions/Lines of Business.
• F-35 Manufacturing structures and systems manufacturing experience.
• Strong team building skills leading hourly collective bargaining units.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain engaged and productive working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in
a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization, support organizations, customers, and governmental oversight organizations.
• Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to effectively communicate the need for change and motivate teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
