WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Manufacturing Planner / Production Control Supervisor, you will:
• Lead and Supervise: Manage and develop represented employees in the efficient and safe handling of materials for the Fabrication process.
• Ensure Material Availability: Oversee the provisioning of hard tooling, parts kits, material, consumable operating supplies, and standard hardware, ensuring they are accessible to production teams with maximum efficiency.
• Maintain Traceability: Ensure that all materials are traceable, reducing waste, preventing shortages, and meeting production timelines.
• Maintain a Safe and Organized Work Area: Enforce FOD (Foreign Object Damage) prevention protocols, ensure a clean and organized workspace, and promote adherence to company safety standards.
• Staging and Expedite Materials: Supervise the staging of work in progress, ensure timely material deliveries, and expedite material requirements to mitigate risks that could impact production schedules.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and proactively address material constraints and potential risks to maintain production flow and meet deadlines.
• Team Development: Provide training, performance feedback, and support for your team, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet production goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to streamline processes, reduce operating costs, and improve the overall efficiency of material handling and fabrication operations.

Basic Qualifications:
•Production Control, Logistics, Supply Chain &/or Shop Floor Control Experience
• Experience with material flow principles: ex)material scheduling OR material movement OR inventory management
• Experience with SAP, CribMaster (inventory management system for tools) or Material Resources Planning (MRP) equivalent

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
