The Global Fleet Support Field Support Systems
Engineer Senior Manager will lead a professional team of customer support, fleet management, and problem resolution experts supporting customers and weapons systems sustainment in the field. Single point of contact to lead, manage, and oversee all fleet support functions related to the F-35 portfolio. The responsible leader will guide, support, mentor, and manage the F35 Field Operations workforce including cost, schedule, and technical aspects of the sustainment business.

The position requires demonstrated leadership skills and extensive professional experience with
engineering and/or sustainment disciplines.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, partnered
agencies, and companies to ensure world-class
customer support, with responsiveness and technical quality to enable worldwide operations.

• Respond to the operational and support concerns of customer management and ensure responsive proactive support is provided by contractor support agencies.

• Monitor, review, and analyze customer logistic
indicators, ensure appropriate resources are focused on resolving and improving unit technical and support issues.

• Ensure submittal of required technical and
administrative records and reports to include activity reports, inspections, field and modification team activities, performance metrics, personnel, and resource issues.

• Requires comprehensive knowledge of integrated military aircraft systems, logistics support systems, design functions, and fluency with engineering and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tools.

• Responsible for all BOEs LOE contractual
discussions/proposals as well as the OBS manager and be responsible for sub-tier contractor performance cost execution.

A level 6 employee Typically has 20 - 30+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Holds 8+ years of relevant and technical experience.

• Experience in formally leading teams (i.e. leading a team, strategic plan formulation, driving closure and resolving complex and large-scale technical issues/challenges).

• Experience fostering customer relationships.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Basis of Estimates
(BOEs), contractual discussions and/or proposals, and/or Cost Account Management, sub-tier contractor performance cost execution of IWTA's.

• Requires knowledge of multiple Air Vehicle and Field Services design elements including field support engineering, maintenance, and logistics.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of sustainment linkages between
Sustaining Engineering, Supply, Maintenance, Joint Technical Data, Modifications, Data Quality, Support Equipment, Training, ALIS, as it relates to fielded performance is required.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
