Description:This is a Lockheed Martin position, reporting to the Manager of Red Team Overt Operations within the Corporate Information Security Intelligence, Readiness and Response (IR2) Organization, offers the opportunity to join the Red Team and work on exciting and challenging technical problems. The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Tech Lead on all network-related objectives from reviewing/recommending config changes to network infrastructure equipment and firewall rules supporting the coordination and installation of testing equipment with business area administrators
• Leading and conducting white hat exploitation and penetration testing, research, and development to support the LM Enterprise, products, programs, and technologies
• Identifying potential security vulnerabilities and implementing mitigations to strengthen the overall security posture
• Collaborating with technical and senior-level partners to drive assignments to closure and deliver positive business results
• Regularly conducting white hat penetration testing activities, and coordinating with multiple organizations in support of critical business and enterprise-wide initiatives

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong technical background and demonstrated experience in networking and penetration testing. They should be able to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve successful performance results.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years:
• networking knowledge – understand networking essentials, data flows, architecture, protocols, traffic, wireless, etc.
• hands-on-keyboard experience conducting and leading penetration tests (White/Grey Hat)
• of intermediate level experience penetration testing of Web applications and its various components (Injection, XSS, validation, session mgmt, web services, hosting, web traffic analysis, etc)
• of scripting experience (Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, Grep/Sed/Awk, etc) including work on offensive cyber tools
• of Operating System knowledge and practical experience in various Windows and Linux, OS configuration, file system structures, OS components, mobile operating systems etc.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise network devices such as Cisco, Juniper, or Brocade
• Experience with TCP/IP suite and packet analysis
• Experience with Cloud and VLAN/Virtual-networking architecture
• Able to lead in-depth conversations about network architecture and determine the most effective locations for positioning tools.
• Ability to obtain & retain a DoD Top Secret/SCI or other compartmentalized clearances
• Ability to travel (15%)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
• Effective analytical and critical thinking skills - proven problem solving and follow-thru.
• Effective documentation and verbal communication skills in customer-facing roles
• Demonstrated successful ability to multi-task and perform in an interrupt-driven, non-deterministic environment while working independently and as a team
• Demonstrated self-starter and team player with ability to quickly learn new concepts with guidance from senior team members
• Ability to foster new ideas/concepts and generate synergy with the team, positive, team and mission-oriented attitude, self-motivate when given strategic goals
• Ability to lead others and deliver results (brief leadership, customers, etc.).
• Knowledge of adversarial activities in cyberspace with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) with the ability to emulate these TTP to assess vulnerability and risk
• Thorough understanding of Active Directory and how to test against it and/or use it to your advantage
• Familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity; Offensive attack hacker mindset
• Experience configuring or reviewing rules/policies on enterprise-grade firewalls such as Cisco ASA or Palo Alto.
• Experience working with hardware, such as transceivers and fiber/copper cabling
• Experience with virtual networking and associated concepts (VMWare preferred)
• Exposure to Datacenter Load-Balancing technologies and concepts
• Exposure to SD-WAN technologies such as NSX-T and Viptela
• Experience with Splunk at the “PowerUsers” level
• Familiarity with Hunt activities
• Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, OSCP, OSCE, CEH, CEPT, GIAC {Web, wireless, forensics, mobile, exploit researcher})

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
