Description:What We're Doing

At the forefront of advancing technology and ensuring the integrity of critical defense systems, we're working on the F-35 program, one of the most sophisticated and highly advanced military aircraft in the world. As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer, you'll play an integral role in securing the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the F-35, ensuring that systems are protected from cyber threats and comply with the highest security standards.

The Work

As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer for the F-35 program, your primary responsibilities will include:

Collaboration with Suppliers:

You'll work closely with suppliers to integrate cybersecurity requirements into the development of F-35 GSE. This includes ensuring that suppliers understand and adhere to required security standards and providing guidance on implementing secure design principles and controls.

RMF and ATO Packages:

You will develop and maintain RMF (Risk Management Framework) base packages and ATO (Authorization to Operate) packages for F-35 GSE systems. This entails creating and updating package documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining the integrity of the documentation throughout the system lifecycle.

System Assessment and Configuration:

Assessing F-35 GSE systems to identify acceptable configurations and security controls will be central to your role. You'll evaluate system vulnerabilities and develop strategies for mitigation, ensuring that all systems comply with required security standards.

Customer and Supplier Engagement:

On a daily basis, you'll engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to deliver new F-35 GSE systems. You'll provide technical support, address security-related issues, and collaborate with auditors to resolve concerns.

System Security Engineering Solutions:

You will implement security solutions for both hardware and software components of F-35 GSE systems. By developing and enforcing secure design principles and security controls, you'll ensure the protection of these systems against cyber threats.

Please note:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.

This position is based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Basic Qualifications:
* 2+ years related professional experience
*Interim Secret with the ability to gain and maintain an active Secret clearance
*Experience with RMF
*Must be DoD 8570/8140 Qualified or on the way for IAT Level II certification or higher
*Prior experience in Information Technology or Cyber Security
*Windows Administration
*US Citizen
Desired Skills:
*Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2+ years professional experience or Master's degree with no experience
*Technical Writing Skills & documentation marking
*Experience with writing/reviewing CONOPS
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*General programming knowledge (i.e SDLC)
*Assessing security controls (i.e. SCAP, ACAS, SCC, STIG Viewer)
*Experience with office products (i.e. PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word)
*Experience with IAVM patching
*Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, be well organized, flexible, and self-motivated.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
