Description:What You Will Be Doing
This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the Lockheed Martin Fort Worth ALIS team as the Network Tech Lead. This role will lead all Network operations, training, development, and system growth related to SDD, DOMMS, FF, and ALOU located at the Lockheed Martin, USAF Plant 4 facility in Fort Worth, TX. This role will still integrate as an ALIS System Administrator depending on workload and availability as needed. This position will serve as the overall point of contact for any internal and external customer needs, questions or concerns, related to equipment upgrades, outages, updates, gateway and network issues on unclassified and classified systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Providing customer service and technical assistance to the end users on operation, use, and maintenance of mission essential network equipment and environment hardware
• Providing tiered troubleshooting of IT systems and network equipment using network schematics, diagrams, and other documentation
• Planning and directing day to day data center network operations
• Maintaining data center infrastructure and material condition of program hardware
• Maintaining / documenting proper inventories of operational and out of band equipment
• Supporting network expansion/migration and related IT projects
• Coordinating and executing the maintenance of keyed devices
• Coordinating extranet equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilities
• Providing technical and administrative training to teammates and clients
• Troubleshooting using system logs to diagnose communication issues
• Performing all required operations in a secured facility
• Monitor hardware/software logs, software events, user activity, resource access, and support network monitoring and intrusion detection
• Provide overall onsite network support and maintenance of ALIS/ODIN internal networks
• Firmware Upgrades on security devices
• OS Upgrade
This is an operational support role, so the selected candidate may be required to support rotating shifts and work weekends and normal off shift time — as dictated by mission requirements.
Job is initially offered as a 4x10B Tuesday-Friday second shift but must be willing to work varied shifts and flexible schedules to meet emergent customer mission requirements or operational needs.

Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
• Must have and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, etc.)
• Team Lead experience
• Documented Network Administrator or Network Engineering experience in a enterprise/data center environment including hardware/appliances
• Active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 5 years and be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access
Desired Skills:
In addition to the basic requirements above, the successful candidate may have one or more of the following:
• Expertise with the OSI model with experience in Layer 2, and 3 Networking
• Previous experience as a Network Admin on a Standard Operating Unit in the field
• In depth Network and Security understanding for Fort Worth SOUs
• Ability to trade off On Call responsibilities for technical issues related to Fort Worth ALIS F-35 Production
• Certifications in the following Environments: Unix, MS-, NT-, X-Windows, Linux, CCNA
• Demonstrated network administration skills, to include:
o Ability to provide high-level network, systems administration and technology management
o Development of Standard Operating Instruction and other training skills and training material development experience
o Knowledge of spanning technology in switches
• Experience working in military environment
• Comfortable working with dynamic mission requirements
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS network hardware and software
• Prior leadership position and experience working in a matrixed functional environment
• Ability to use network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark) to assess network performance
• Systems administration experience with servers and network installations/integrations
• Have prior formal or informal team leadership experience
• Extensive ops and troubleshooting experience with Unix, Linux, Windows operating systems and network hardware (e.g., Juniper/Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and Net Optics taps)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze intrusion detection system networks
• Demonstrated experience installation of servers, routers, switches, and network taps in a business environment
• Proven knowledge on Brocade switches and Netapp devices
• Demonstrated experience with Watchguard Firewalls, Fortigate Firewalls and Sonicwall
• Working knowledge of reading blueprints and wiring server racks
• A willingness to work varied shifts and flexible schedules to meet customer mission requirements
• Ability to accurately and quickly brief high level leadership on network status and problems while identifying a path forward
• Demonstrated experience with Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/VPN
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
