Description:
You will be an Electronics Engineering Technician for our team, which is responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems and components. Our team is comprised of experts in electronics engineering, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our ranks.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Electronics Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for surface mount assembly and rework of printed circuit boards, performing EOS testing on electronic components and assemblies, and testing and troubleshooting systems using various types of equipment. You will also be responsible for building multi-wire cable harnesses, developing system block diagrams and BOMs, and retrofitting and updating old architecture with new technology.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Surface mount assembly and rework of printed circuit boards
• Perform EOS testing on electronic components and assemblies
• Test and troubleshoot systems using various types of equipment, including:
• Vector Network Analyzers
• Spectrum Analyzers
• Signal Generators
• Logic Analyzers
• Oscilloscopes
• Digital Multi-meters
• Build multi-wire cable harnesses and develop ICDs
• Use Microsoft Office and Visio to develop system block diagrams, BOMs, and testing and acceptance criteria documents
• Retrofit and update old architecture with new technology
• Schematic capture and PCB development with Altium Designer
• Use 3D printers and CNC machines for modifying existing products and new product development
• Conduct test and evaluation of audio, video, tracking, or other surveillance systems
• Integrate electric components in support of rapid prototyping requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of direct relevant technical experience with electronic systems to include analog, digital and RF sub-systems
Ability to provide intuitive and timely engineering solutions for immediate prototype production.
Familiarity with military operations and requirements.
Desired Skills:
Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) Associates degree or higher
Former agency or Military Special Operations experience
Veteran with technical experience working in Special Operations Communications.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
