This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

Act as a multi-positional player who can work in an ambiguous environment that can bring efforts to successful outcomes.

• Develop program wide communications.
• Write and edit process, procedure, policy and training documentation.
• Manage various project schedules.
• Support projects related to Program Protection
Support projects related to the modernization of the program infrastructure.
• Develop solutions to problems and effectively identify, manage, mitigate, and control risk.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with functional program leadership and customers to ensure achievement for program objectives.
• Integrate between various program and functional support areas.
• Other duties as requested by leadership.

Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in either Denver, Colorado or Washington, DC and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams to meet common goals and objectives.
• Strong familiarity with current Windows-based software applications (such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and/or other project management software.
• Demonstrated success addressing issues, identifying questions, relaying information and finding solutions.
• Experience writing and editing policy, procedure, process, training and/or other major documentation.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters's degree.
• Ability to multi-task and meet demanding schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability to changing requirements.
• A self-starter mentality showing initiative and attention to detail.
• Experience with Program Protection to include but not limited to, classification management, physical/industrial/cyber security requirements.
• Ability to plan strategic changes and improvements and to orchestrate their successful execution.
• Demonstrated effective problem and conflict resolution skills including experience with root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Schedule management experience.
• Ability to take direction and successfully execute projects

• Must have excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
