Description:The position is based at a LM facility in Colorado Springs, CO in the long-term, however, this role must be able to travel to alternate work locations, such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, Europe, etc., to execute job duties such as deployments.

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO as a member of the Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team.
WHO WE ARE
As leader of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin directs a partnership of highly responsive industry leaders developing and fielding the backbone of America’s missile defense. Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration, and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually. You will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

THE WORK
In this important role, you will:
- Be a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program.
- Be responsible for learning the planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites and help where needed.
- Be responsible for traveling to remote locations to perform network installations, perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel.

Basic Qualifications:
- The position requires a Final DoD Secret security clearance
- The position requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT), or equivalent experience/combined education
- The position requires an IAT Level II (8570) Compliant Certification such as Security+CE, CASP+CE, GSEC, SSCP, CND, GICSP, etc.
Desired Skills:
- Must have knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies.
- Must have an understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
- Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
- Must have knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
- Must have knowledge of multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
- Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
- Must thrive and do your best work in a collaborative and agile environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
