Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work
Do you relish a challenge? Then you may want to collaborate as part of the C2BMC program’s DevSecOps team to develop the test, integration and delivery pipelines with Lockheed Martin.

* In this role, you will work independently on large projects, and at other times, will be working in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers and other program development and deployment teams.
* Provide security in DevSecOps, up-to-date knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment techniques, code reviews, current best practices and the latest cybersecurity threats
* Choose and deploy the appropriate automated application security testing tools
* Bring awareness to users of how to make the most of application security features
* The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

As leaders of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America’s missile defense. Our national team supports the design, development, testing, integration, and fielding of hardware and software elements essential for the effective operation of the Missile Defense System (MDS). Basic Qualifications:
•Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD FINAL SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE to be considered for this position
•CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification
•Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration
•Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell
•Experience with automation concepts
•Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
Desired Skills:
•Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower
•Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault
•Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
•Experience with Nexus
•Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware
•Understanding of HP server configuration

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
