Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work

The Cyber and Platform Agile Release Train provides and maintains a secure environment for developing and deploying those mission critical technologies.
Supporting the Cyber and Platform Agile release Train as a Cybersecurity Tools specialist you will be:
Responsible for the development and implementation of Cyber TPs in the National Team (NT) labs, the C2BMC Testbed (CTB), and Ops.
Installing, deploying, and unit testing Cyber Products (e.g., CyberArk, HBSS, ACAS, ArcSight, MFA, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.).
Providing redlines to COS engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership.
Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards on a daily basis.

Please Note:

This position is fulltime onsite in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO.

This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Secret Level; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

A level 3 employee is typically mid-career and has 3 to 5+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education/certification, with 9 years of professional experience.

This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Secret Level; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

DoDI 8140 IAT-Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP).

Demonstrated skills: technical trouble shooting of software applications and integrating COTS products, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system accreditation.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Agile Lifecycle utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Working knowledge of implementing DISA STIGs and GPOs
Demonstrated experience utilizing patch management, scanning & auditing, security event monitoring, host-based security and multi-factor tools in an integrated lab environment
Excellent technical document preparation skills and verbal communications
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $93,400 - $179,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
