Seeking a skilled and motivated leader with strong special access program experience and knowledge to perform in the role as Site Security Manager for the F35 security team at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. The successful candidate will perform in a special access program environment to ensure execution of security policy and procedure aligns with published DOD directives, manuals, standard operating procedures, and local guidelines. This position will manage multiple functional areas to include operational security (OPSEC), security education and training (SETA), physical security (PHYSEC), personnel security (PERSEC), access control, and document control at multiple F35 facilities aboard MCAS Cherry Point. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Oversight and participation of any site activation, integration, and sustainment F35 activities
- F35 specific Special Access Program (SAP) support
- Execute and oversee a robust self-inspection program to ensure compliance
- Assist with security incident preliminary inquiries
- Developing, implementing, and recommending modifications to F35 operating policies
- Ensure facility requirements are met to maintain accreditation
- Overall execution and management of contractual security requirements
- Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to F35 security issues
- Communicate observations and activities effectively to leadership and business partners
- Employee recruitment and training
- Employee performance management, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions
- Establish and maintain customer relationships onsite
- Other duties as assigned
- Due to future mission requirements, a TS/SCI clearance may be required for the successful candidate
Basic Qualifications:
1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.
5. In depth knowledge working in classified environments and/or with classified materials.
6. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.
7. In depth knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications and their application.
8. Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
9. Prior experience as a CPSO, GSSO, PSO, PSM, ASM, or PSR
Desired Skills:
1. Prior L-Code Manager experience in a Lockheed Martin Security environment.
2. Knowledge of F-35 program security requirements.
3. Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or Government Program Security Officer (PSO).
4. Experience working in a military environment; prior experience with the USMC.
5. COMSEC knowledge / experience.
6. Prior experience teaching / instructing.
7. Experience working with military weapons schools and a test and evaluation squadron.
8. Prior experience maintaining Fixed Facility Checklists in support of special access programs in accordance with ICD 705.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
