Job Responsibilities
Description:Seeking a motivated and skilled Security Professional with extensive ICD-705 experience, who will perform duties related to construction security and ensure compliance with facility design requirements/policies while overseeing the execution of multiple large-scale Military Construction (MILCON) projects on behalf of the local Program Security Officer (PSO) and accreditation official. This position is located at MCAS Cherry Point, NC and will support the F-35 Program. The selected candidate will also perform duties as a Security Generalist, when not supporting MILCON projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support access control and enforce all local policies associated with physical security of the construction sites.
- Develop and implement Construction Security Plans (CSPs); ensure construction team compliance.
- Coordinate with multiple external and local agencies to ensure completion of security milestones on accreditation timeline.
- Communicate regularly with the local PSO on security compliance decisions; provide regular updates on construction progress to Lockheed Martin site leadership.
- Document and photograph construction progress to support and ensure successful on-time accreditation.
- Provide recommendations and subject matter expertise on security policies and procedures to the local PSO and the MILCON team.
- Participate in site activation efforts, as needed.
- Develop, implement, and modify operating policies for F35 activities aboard MCAS Cherry Point.
- Operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry/exit searches
- Enforce all DoN, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC
- Assist in self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections
- Assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Operational Training Center (OTC)
- Other duties as assigned
Due to the dynamic environment the incumbent will be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required, in the future.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission
requirements dictate.
4. Experience as Construction Security Manager
5. Extensive knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals, ICD 705 and associated technical specifications
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills
7. Ability to multi-task and remain organized; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
8. Prior experience working with or implementing security plans for facilities and security operations
9. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Desired Skills:
1. Knowledge of F-35 program security requirements and facility design requirements.
2. Experience with MILCON projects and secured facilities aboard DOD installations.
3. Experience working in a military environment; prior experience with the USMC.
4. Prior experience maintaining Fixed Facility Checklists in support of special access program or sensitive compartmented information facilities in accordance with ICD 705.
5. Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
