As a Engineering and Technology (E&T) Associate Manager at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of engineering professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. We are a matrix engineering and technology organization so you will touch multiple programs over your career!

What You Will Be Doing

As a RF Engineering and Technology Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Demonstrate Full Spectrum leadership and will direct and coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects for the Special Analysis program.
-Management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.
-Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.
-Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.
- Supporting program production efforts, adherence to engineering production processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program areas of your team.

It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

-Experience in RF / Microwave Theory

- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams - Full Lifecycle Development Experience

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs.

- Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask

**Must be a US Citizen as Interim Security Clearance is needed prior to start.
Desired Skills:
- Control Account Manager (CAM) experience

- Earned Value Management Experience

- Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring

-MS degree in Electrical / RF Engineering or
related field is desired.

-Failure Review Board and Root cause and Corrective Action Investigation Experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong Interpersonal Skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
