You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate for our Production Planning team. Our team is responsible for ensuring that production orders are placed on time to meet customer needs, and that material availability and inventory levels are carefully managed.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Associate, you will be responsible for monitoring program schedules, creating and tracking reports, and coordinating with expediters, purchasing, and other teams to ensure that production runs smoothly. You will also investigate inventory discrepancies, advise product management on material availability, and help resolve problems that may impact production. Your responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring program schedules and placing production orders on time

• Coordinating with expediters, purchasing, and other teams to ensure smooth production
• Investigating inventory discrepancies and resolving problems
• Advising product management on material availability and potential production issues
• Expediting stock transports between sites and coordinating interdepartmental activities

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level
Desired Skills:
Good communication skills , the ability to multi-task.
Inventory control knowledge and must be able to lead a team.
Have the ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week.
Have ERP experience, good computer skills, in-depth SAP knowledge and some material kitting knowledge and/or experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
