The Work:

Duties will include but are not limited to:

This position will support F-35 security operations. responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Pilot Training Center and classified areas of the VMFAT-501 training squadron, as required. Enforce all local security policies and procedures
Oversee visitor access and be the first line of security defense in the Pilot Training Center
Execute the handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media support access control and physical security measures assist instructors, students and visitors
operate badging and access control systems perform random searches Conduct self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections assist in security investigations
communicate, interact professionally during the enforcement of security policy and procedures.
interact daily with senior ranking military officers and enlisted personnel and key GOV stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism Identify, implement, and enforce overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data. Continually adapt and revise a training plans for F-35 security professionals.
support either first, second or third shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for.

In support of our US Marine Corps, US Navy and US Air Force customers, members of the team are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) Collateral Security, Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and Squadron deployment support.
On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 6 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.
5. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
6. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.
7. Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
Desired Skills:
1. Familiar with access control and intrusion detection systems.
2. Familiarization with Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
3. Experience working in a dynamic Military environment and be able to successfully interact daily with senior ranking USMC commissioned officers and key GOV stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism.
4. Ability to multi-task and remain organized.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
