Description:What You Will Be Doing

Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer Manager for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics F-35 Logistics Information Technology (LogIT) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)/Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) program for Site Activation & Integration (SA&I) reporting to the F-35 LogIT Product Implementation Senior Manager. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing all ALIS/ODIN Site Activations and Warfighter Integration event activities for both new and established site standups in support of global F-35 operations, and serves as a day-to-day leader for staff with direct customer interaction.

The selected candidate will themselves perform as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in interfacing with multiple internal and external customers for site activation and integration events as well as be responsible for L-code personnel management of staff in Orlando and virtual (employee hiring, retention, performance and training; expense report and timecard approval). This position requires travel in support of customer events where selected candidate may require on average up to 50% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Providing oversight, coordination, and integration of SA&I tasks within the team across F-35 site activation and warfighter integration
* Providing customer engagement in the LogIT design at F-35 sites with emphasis on network interoperability, systems applications, analysis, and information security
* Providing customer engagement for new customer's introduction to service working groups comprised of ALIS/ODIN familiarization, day-in-the-life (DITL) demonstrations, planning, ALIS/ODIN messages
* Coordinating customer de-risking events to test ALIS/ODIN Information Exchange Requirements (IER) to identify and resolve any errors that ensure proper functionality with customer provided User Identified Data Exchange System (UIDES)
* Ensuring program operations are meeting or exceeding on-time delivery of contractual milestones/deliverables and objectives towards site readiness for ALIS/ODIN install and forward sustainment in F-35 contracted environments
* Ensuring that all ALIS/ODIN contractual requirements are satisfied to include cost, technical, schedule, and operational performance in delivering to contractual commitments/deliveries with quality and on time
* Prioritizing site activation tasks, intra-program conflict resolution, and overall F-35 site activation / program harmonization
* Maintaining a direct relationship with the Customer, and frequently seeking engagement with various program stakeholders across the F-35 enterprise
* Presenting program status and attends meetings with internal/external Customers to provide current program plans and status
* Responsible for assessing program risks and identifying potential opportunities within ALIS/ODIN sustainment, collecting metrics, answering Requests For Information (RFIs), supporting the submission of new proposals/estimates, and resolving complex program issues with impact assessments and remediation

This position may be based in Fort Worth, TX, Orlando, FL, Eglin AFB, FL or Crystal City, VA.

Basic Qualifications:
• Holds a Final DoD Secret Clearance with reinvestigation in the last 5 years prior to start
• Hands-on experience with JSF F-35 ALIS/ODIN system, including experience with the Architecture, Network Design, Deployment, Applications, and/or Sustainment plans
• Formal or informal leadership of teams and/or projects, to include agility in leadership and program execution as well experience collaborating with senior level internal/external customers
• Prior workforce planning, talent management, and/or project execution experience
• Ability to travel in support of customer events, on average up to 50% domestic and international travel
Desired Skills:
• Prior leadership people management, to include employee recruitment/retention, selection & training, performance assessment, work assignment, salary, recognition/disciplinary actions, & career development
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills to all levels of the organization including external customers and LM Executives, and the ability to create presentation material for Executive Leadership
• Prior or current Cost Account Manager (CAM) including resolving cost, schedule and technical challenges with cross functional teams, and generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal development support
• Proven Project Lead Management/ experience, and demonstrated ability to provide project leadership in a diverse virtual team environment
• Self-starter who identifies problems, determines and acts on courses of action, and escalates to senior leadership when help, direction, or approval is needed
• Ability to collaborate with and integrate high performance multi-functional teams and lead culture change in the organization
• Strong business acumen, influence management and whole systems thinking skills
• Knowledge of LM Program Performance Management Process, Program / Service Life-cycles and related processes
• Systems & software engineering process experience and experience with systems engineering lifecycle
• System integration & test
• Leading process improvement events

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
