Description:
The Vice President of Lockheed Martin Mission Development and Integration (MDI), Technology and Strategic Innovation is hiring an Executive Administrative Assistant.
Your Mission:
As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you will support the executive's needs and the surrounding work environment, performing a variety of administrative duties and normal office functions, while interfacing with executive level leaders and addressing customer needs. You will be required to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key responsibilities in this role include the following:
• Managing and maintaining calendars
• Composing reports, correspondence, and memorandums
• Arranging and coordinating travel (including international) and processing expenses and reviewing for approval through Concur system
• Coordinating in-person, hybrid and remote organizational meetings and conferences, to include room/classified system reservation and preparation, logistics, and presentation details
• Managing the logistical requirements for senior leader visits
• Effectively interfacing, coordinating, and collaborating with other internal Executive Assistants
• Utilizing personal computer and standard desk top software (full complement of Microsoft Office Suite) to access LM systems, compose correspondence and update spreadsheets and presentation charts
• Ensuring all correspondence is accurate, complete, and properly handled
• Managing the flow and handling of confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information
• Receiving, referring, or answering email, telephone calls, and other requests with discretion and tact
• Setting up and maintaining files
• Answering questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
• Handling administrative detail on all projects, e.g. updating/status-ing delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines, handling all inquiries within capacity, providing backup materials for callbacks, fixing commitments to maximize time efficiency, screening visitors to control interruptions and preserve schedules, providing meeting backup data as needed and arranging all amenities for same, etc
• Determining priorities regarding non-routine situations

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This is a hybrid role requiring some onsite work at our Crystal City location in Arlington, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience supporting executive management (Director level or above)
• Demonstration of leadership attributes to address executive’s needs, the surrounding work environment, and customer interfaces/requests
• Strong organizational, coordination, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and phone skills
• Thorough knowledge of systems applications such as MS Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, VTC, including order supplies, request to visit, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with other administrative assistants and staff supporting the leadership team of an organization
• Able to manage fast-paced environments, operate under pressure, produce timely communications, and maintain strong interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with strong initiative
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Concur to make travel arrangements (including international) and review/prepare expense reports
• Experience within the A&D industry

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
