The candidate will lead transformation and expansion strategies for the C6ISR Advanced Concepts organization with leadership responsibilities to address next generation mission needs and drive technology and product strategies. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams and operational customer collaborations to solve emerging challenges. The candidate will develop collaborative customer relationships key to achieve roadmaps and outpace the environment.

We are looking for an experienced professional with knowledge in the undersea mission capabilities area, including prior programmatic, operational, and technical experience.

This role will be responsible for the following areas:
• Proactively lead the team in defining business outcomes, strategy, roadmaps, and S&T opportunities
• Partner with market segment PMO and cross-functional team, interface with the corporate mission roadmaps and 21CS team, to align strategies and resources
• Drive identification, shaping, and preparing opportunities and position the business to succeed in strategic captures
• Partner across the business to ensure road mapping and associated planning efforts reflect technologies and emerging needs
• Develop key business and customer relationships to fulfill our roadmaps
• Ensure coordination across 21CS and Cross-BA activities to align with C6ISR interests
• Ensure coordination across all levers including IRAD, CRAD, partnerships, ventures, and M&A
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience with Combatant Command, DARPA, IARPA, Service S&T, Joint, OSD, and/or Service customers, advanced programs, industry partners and competitors

• Candidate must have understanding of the Undersea Warfare external environment and insight into the competitive landscape demonstrating the ability to assess approaches and candidate strategies.

• Experience working across organizational boundaries

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

• Recent familiarity with DoD customer
operational challenges and gaps

• Experience with key Government Labs and S&T strategies
Desired Skills:
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP clearances

• Technical and/or operational competencies related to undersea warfare, subsea and seabed warfare (SSW), autonomy, advanced battle management command and control (BMC2), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), advanced communications, electronic warfare (EW), Cyber warfare, and joint all domain operations (JADO)

• Knowledge of next generation warfare concepts at the Joint and Service levels

• Familiarity with Joint Fires Network (JFN), Project Overmatch and other Service JADC2 initiatives

• Experience with small businesses and SBIR

• Experience evaluating early stage companies and partnering with venture capital

• Experience crafting, creating/building, and delivering presentations to executive management and customers

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $146,800 - $281,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $168,800 - $318,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
