Meet Ray

Ray's military journey began in 1989 when he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. His first duty station was Ellsworth AFB near Rapid City, South Dakota, where he embarked on a remarkable career dedicated to serving his country.

Just two years into his career, Ray's exceptional abilities led to his selection as a Military Training Instructor (MTI) in 1991, serving as an Instructor at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas until 1997. This role allowed him to shape the next generation of airmen, instilling in them the values of discipline and excellence.

Ray's dedication to service extended to his time as an Air Force Recruiter. He began his recruiting journey in the very same office he entered the U.S. Air Force in 1989, and his commitment led him to serve in nearly every possible capacity until his retirement in 2011. For twenty of his 22-year career, Ray's assignments were considered "Special Duty," a testament to his exceptional contributions.

Ray recognizes the incredible potential within the veteran community, describing it as "an amazing source of loyal and highly skilled talent". He takes great pride in facilitating Lockheed Martin's values and mission, drawing parallels between the military experience and the organization's objectives. Ray considers it a vital part of his responsibilities to connect these exceptional veterans with open roles, while also helping hiring managers understand the immense value of veteran hires.
