Q. What are some of the technologies you work with, develop and advance?
A. Our technological capability is exceptionally wide. It includes: advanced materials • analysis, simulation and modeling • electro-optics • communications • environmental sciences • guidance, navigation and control systems • liquid propellants • millimeter and microwave electronics • software and processors • space science instruments • stealth technologies • systems architecture and integration — we could go on and on.

Q. Where are you located?
A. You can find Lockheed Martin in some of the most desirable metropolitan areas as well as small towns in rural America and beyond. You will be surprised by how many choices you have in the U.S. and internationally. Our Locations section will provide you with more details.

Q. What steps must someone take when transitioning from college to Lockheed Martin?
A. There are a myriad of tools and programs available to help the new college grad integrate into the workplace. Lockheed Martin has a corporate-wide New Employee Orientation program which eases the new hire into the corporate world and explains the many resources available to them to get off on the right foot. New employees will find that their managers, mentors and peers are all eager for them to come up to speed and will be very helpful in offering assistance and advice. Also, buddy programs, monthly reviews and New Hire Clubs are just a few of the site-specific programs in place to help new employees feel welcome as a valued member of the Lockheed Martin team.

Q. What majors are you looking for?
A. Typically, we seek candidates who have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD. with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 and above in the following and related disciplines:

Q. How many grads are you hiring this year?
A. Through continuous on-campus recruitment activities including information sessions, career fairs and on-campus interviews, we work to identify students to fill our 4,000+ full-time and intern/co-op opportunities

Q. Do you offer tuition assistance?
A. Yes. We have a tuition reimbursement policy. In addition, each of our individual business sites has specific training and development opportunities. Typically, classes are available in a variety of business relevant technical areas as well as leadership and interpersonal skills development.

Q. Can I pursue a graduate degree?
A. The short answer is: Yes. All of our employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement for continuing and graduate education in a field related to the business. We encourage all of our employees to continue to learn and grow throughout their career. Also, educational advancement is an integral part of our Leadership Development Programs.
